Find me in...Nepal

Since we began in Nepal we set out to discover the undiscovered. Too often, travellers arrive in Nepal and head straight up into the Himalayas - skipping the foothills where the deep level of culture in each village can be transformative. Our focus was on how to support communities that were most impacted by the 2015 earthquake. Since 25% of the Nepali economy comes from travel, we figured the places that would have the least support during this time would be the communities that lay outside the tourist gaze.

That means that we visited a load of villages and communities that you wouldn't be labelled on Google Maps, and if it were maybe, it wouldn't be spelt correctly, or the pin was in the wrong place...mapping is an overlooked luxury, trust us! So, co-ordinates rule the roost, this is how we navigate, and this is how we plan our race route.
